Description: A small to medium-sized Deciduous tree with a narrow, upright habit and aromatic young foliage. Large, attractive, beetroot purple leaves are ovate to triangular in shape. The branches are also deep purple when young. Dioecious. Catkins are produced from late winter to early spring before the leaves emerge.

Populus Deltoides 'Purple Tower' is pollarded in the Wedding Ring Border at Malverleys to maintain leaf size, colour, and the overall height of the tree.
