Description: A medium-sized Deciduous tree with an upright, pyramidal habit. The attractive, peeling bark is deep reddish-brown on young trees and will gradually turn white with age. Mid to dark green leaves are ovate to oval in shape and are pointed at the tips. Pale beige catkins are produced in clusters in mid-spring. The leaves turn bright yellow in autumn before falling.
