Description: A medium-sized, Deciduous tree with an upright habit and a rounded crown. Glossy, deep reddish-brown bark peels away from the tree in attractive copper-orange sheets. White Bloom can be found on the dark bark of more mature specimens. Dark green leaves are ovate to oval in shape with pointed tips and coarsely toothed margins. Long, beige catkins are produced in early spring.
