Description: A small, Deciduous tree with an upright habit. The branches are covered in satiny dark green leaves that are ovate to oval in shape and have finely toothed margins. Yellow male catkins are produced in mid to late spring and are followed by female flowers that will develop into green, hop-like Racemes of fruit enveloped by prominent Bracts. 'Sentinel Dries' has superior deep red, orange and yellow autumn colour.

Yellow male catkins are produced in April and May, and are followed by mid-green female flowers. The female flowers will develop into hop-like fruit with prominent bracts.
