Description: A small, Evergreen, weeping coniferous tree. If trained up a stake it will produce a central leader with weeping side branches, otherwise, the tree will have a spreading habit. Short, linear silver-blue needles are arranged in spirals around the weeping branches. Monoecious. The yellow pollen cones are narrow and cylindrical in shape and reach approximately 2cm in length. The pendent seed cones have protruding, three-pointed Bracts and are green when they emerge, maturing to reddish-brown.

Best in full sun to partial shade in fertile, well drained soil. Avoid planting in shallow chalk soils.
