Description: A small, Deciduous tree with an upright habit and a rounded crown. Large, obovate leaves with pinnatifid lobing are dark green with a leathery texture. Each leaf can reach to 30cm or more in length. Male and female flowers are produced on the same plant, but separately. The greenish-yellow male catkins are produced in spring as the leaves emerge. The female flowers are very small and followed by round, pale brown acorns.
This tree is named after Carl Ferris Miller who founded Chollipo Arboretum in South Korea.
