Description: A clump-forming Perennial with an upright habit. Mid-green, ovate to oblong leaves have scalloped margins and are held in basal rosettes. Smaller, lanceolate leaves are held in opposite pairs up the flower stems. Two-lipped, tubular flowers are bright violet-pink and held in dense spikes. The flowers are produced from early summer into early autumn and are attractive to bees and butterflies.
