Description: A rhizomatous Perennial with an upright habit. Attractive, trifoliate leaves have ovate to oval leaflets that are dark green with prominent white veins and scalloped margins. White cross-shaped flowers are produced in Racemes from mid to late spring. Rare in cultivation.
Cardamine diphylla 'Eco Moonlight' was raised by Don Jacobs, a prominent plant breeder that passed away (age 93) in 2010. Mr Jacobs had been an ecology professor prior to opening a small nursery. He introduced many plants into cultivation, usually including 'Eco' in the name.
