Description: A rhizomatous Perennial with an upright habit. Dark green trifoliate leaves are lanceolate in shape and have coarsely toothed margins. Cross-shaped flowers are a vivid shade of purple and are produced in Racemes from late spring into early summer. Attractive to pollinating insects.
