Description: A clump-forming, herbaceous Perennial with an upright habit. Smooth, mid to dark green leaves are lanceolate in shape. The flowerheads are composed of a brown central boss surrounded by yellow petals that gradually deepen to red with age. The flowers are produced over a long period from midsummer into mid-autumn. (The flowering period will be prolonged by deadheading.) Excellent for use as cut flowers, and attractive to bees and butterflies.

Golden yellow ray florets (petals) are irregularly streaked with red and gradually deepen to nearly all red with age. The ray florets surround a brown central cone of disc florets. The flowers are produced from July into October if deadheaded.
