Description: A herbaceous climbing plant that is generally treated as an annual. Large, mid-green leaves are ovate to heart-shaped. Stunning, trumpet-shaped flowers are sky blue, each with a white throat. The flowers open from twisted buds early in the morning and wither by mid-day (hence the common name - Morning Glory). The flowers are produced from early summer into early autumn, possibly later, and are attractive to bees.
