Description: A vigorous hybrid of Rosa ecea that has upright, mahogany stems that are very prickly. Mid to bright green, pinnate leaves have small, oval to rounded leaflets with coarsely toothed margins. Single, saucer-shaped flowers are bright yellow and have a central crown of golden stamens. The flowers are produced along the stems from late spring into early summer and are followed by small, red hips.
