Description: An aromatic Perennial with woody stems and an upright habit. Dark green, crinkled leaves have buff-coloured felt on the undersides and are ovate to lanceolate in shape. Deep, lavender-blue flowers are tubular 2-lipped in shape and have nearly black calyces. The Blooms are held in spike-like whorls and are produced from late summer into mid-autumn. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. Discovered in 1988 in South America and introduced into commerce in 2000.

Very deep, lavender-blue flowers are tubular 2-lipped in shape and have navy blue (nearly black) calyces. The blooms are held in spike-like whorls and produced from August into October.
