Description: A tender, clump-forming, herbaceous Perennial with an upright, branching habit. Aromatic, mid to dark green leaves are ovate to oval in shape and have finely toothed margins. Abundant indigo-blue flowers have a tubular 2-lipped shape and are held in spike-like whorls. The Blooms are produced, continuously, from midsummer into late autumn. Attractive to bees and butterflies and excellent for use as cut flowers.
Small, deep indigo blue flowers have a tubular 2-lipped shape. The blooms are held in spike-like whorls and produced over a long period from July into November, possibly longer in mild weather.
