Description: An Evergreen, woody Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Aromatic, mid-green leaves are ovate to Elliptic in shape and have finely toothed to scalloped margins. Rich deep red flowers are tubular 2-lipped in shape and have dark red calyces. The Blooms are held in upright Racemes and produced over a long period from late spring into early summer. Attractive to bees and butterflies and excellent for use as cut flowers.

Sometimes referenced as Salvia x jamensis 'Flammen' (different spelling).

Flower:

Rich deep red flowers have a tubular 2-lipped shape and dark red calyces. The flowers are held in long, upright racemes and produced over a long period from late May into November.
