Description: A small, Deciduous Shrub with an upright habit. Small, obovate to Elliptic leaves are grey-green on the upper surfaces and silvery-white on the undersides. The leaves are held in clusters on silver, spiny branches. Small, pale yellow, cup-shaped flowers are produced in late spring and are followed by cylindrical, red berries that are covered with white Bloom. The leaves turn vivid scarlet in autumn before falling.
