Description: A small to medium-sized, Evergreen Shrub with an upright habit. Glossy dark green leaves are oblong to lanceolate in shape and have spiny margins. Each leaf can reach to more than 15cm in length. Bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers are held in clusters and produced from mid to late spring. The flowers are followed by oblong berries that gradually deepen to black. The leaves may turn vivid red during the winter months but should remain on the plant.
