Description: A Decorative Dahlia.

A clump-forming, tuberous Perennial with an upright, bushy habit. Mid to dark green, pinnate leaves have ovate to oval leaflets with coarsely toothed margins. Double, bright scarlet and cerise flowers have slender, incurved petals that are silvery-pink on the back. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and produced from midsummer into mid-autumn, or until hit by a hard frost. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

Flower:

Double, bright scarlet and cerise flowers have slender, incurved ray florets (petals) that are silvery-pink on the backs. At the centre of each bloom is a green eye. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced from July into October, or until hit by hard frost.

Cultivation:

Best in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive soil that is well-drained. Store tubers in a frost-free location over winter.
