Description: A Ball form Dahlia.
A clump-forming, tuberous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Mid to dark green, pinnate leaves have ovate to oval leaflets with coarsely toothed margins. Fully double flowers with rounded, incurved petals open in pale shades of apricot and yellow and turn to pale pink with hints of purple with age. At the centre of each Bloom is a prominent, deep purple Eye (inspiring the cultivar name 'Wine-Eyed Jill'). The Blooms are held singly on dark, upright stems and are produced over a long period from midsummer into mid-autumn, or until hit by a hard frost. Excellent for use as cut flowers.
Flower:
Fully double, round flowers have incurved ray florets (petals) that open in pale shades of apricot and yellow and become pale pink with purple shading as the blooms age. At the centre of each flower is a prominent, deep purple eye. The blooms are held singly on dark, upright stems and produced from July into October, or until hit by a hard frost.

Cultivation:
Best in full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive soil that is well-drained. Store the tubers in a frost-free location over winter.
