Description: A bulbous Perennial with an upright habit. Aromatic mid-green leaves are linear to strap-shaped and held at the base of the plant. Round umbels of deep violet flowers are held atop strong, vertical stems. Each individual flower is star-shaped with a green centre. The Blooms are produced from late spring into early summer and are excellent for use as cut flowers and drying. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Flower:

Small star-shaped flowers are a shade of deep violet and have bright green centres. Many flowers are held in spherical umbels atop sturdy, vertical stems from May into June.
