Description: A small to medium-sized Deciduous tree with an upright, spreading habit. Mid-green leaves are obovate to Elliptic in shape. Large, fragrant flowers are produced on the branches before the leaves emerge. The Blooms are creamy white, each shaded with purple-pink at the base, and can reach to 30cm across. The flowers are held singly and produced in mid-spring.

Large, fragrant cup-shaped flowers are creamy white and marked with purple-pink at the base of each bloom. Each flower can reach to 30cm across. The blooms are held singly on the branches and are produced in April before the leaves emerge.
