Description: A medium-sized Deciduous Shrub with an upright, bushy habit. Ovate to oval leaves have coarsely toothed margins and emerge purple in spring before turning mid to dark green as they develop. Bowl-shaped flowers are snow-white with striking deep purple calyces. The Blooms are intensely fragrant and produced abundantly in Racemes from early to midsummer. Attractive to pollinating insects.
