Description: A medium to large-sized Deciduous Shrub with an upright, spreading habit. Mid-green leaves are ovate to heart-shaped. Small trumpet-shaped flowers are a striking, rich shade of deep reddish-purple. The Blooms are held in dense conical panicles that can reach 30cm in length. The Blooms are intensely fragrant and produced in late spring and early summer. Often used for cut flowers and attractive to pollinating insects.

Small trumpet-shaped flowers are a rich shade of deep reddish-purple. The blooms are held in dense conical panicles that can reach 30cm in length. The flowers are heavily scented and produced in May and June.
