Description: A bulbous Perennial with a clump-forming, upright habit. Glossy mid to bright green leaves are linear to lanceolate in shape and erect. Single goblet-shaped flowers are bright red with three buff-gold outer petals. The Blooms are held singly atop slender, upright stems and are produced from late spring into early summer. One of the latest tulips to flower and now thought to be extinct in the wild.

Single goblet-shaped flowers are bright scarlet-red with three narrow outer tepals (petals) that are buff gold in colour. The flowers are held singly atop slender, upright stems and are produced in May and June.
