Description: A herbaceous Perennial with an upright, clump-forming habit. Pinnate leaves with oval to lanceolate leaflets emerge deep red in spring before turning to a glossy dark green with age. Large double bowl-shaped flowers are creamy white, each with a central crown of golden yellow stamens. Each Bloom has ruffled petals and can reach to 30cm across. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced from early through midsummer. the Blooms are heavily fragrant and excellent for use as cut flowers. Attractive to pollinating insects.
