Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming, upright habit. Pinnate leaves with oval to lanceolate leaflets emerge deep red in spring before turning to a glossy dark green with age. Large semi-double, bowl-shaped flowers are a rich shade of ruby red. At the centre of each Bloom is a cluster of golden yellow stamens. The Blooms are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from late spring into early summer. Excellent for use as cut flowers and attractive to pollinating insects.
