Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming and upright habit. Pinnate leaves with oval to lanceolate leaflets emerge deep red in spring before turning to glossy dark green with age. Large double bowl-shaped flowers are rose pink and heavily scented. The petals at the centre of each Bloom often remain tightly furled in a ball. The Blooms are held singly or in small clusters on upright stems and are produced from early through midsummer.
