Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming, upright habit. Pinnate leaves with oval to lanceolate leaflets emerge deep red in spring before turning to glossy dark green with age. Relatively small, single bowl-shaped flowers are bright magenta pink. Each Bloom has a prominent central cluster of lemon yellow staminodes. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced from early summer into midsummer. The Blooms have a sweet scent and are excellent for use as cut flowers.
