Description: A herbaceous Perennial with upright stems and a modest running habit. Mid to dark green Basal Leaves are rounded to heart-shaped with scalloped margins. Smaller palmately lobed leaves are held on the flowering stems. Silky white, bowl or saucer-shaped flowers have blue Anthers. The flowers are held in Racemes on vertical stems and are produced from early to mid-summer. The Blooms are attractive to pollinating insects and are good for use as cut flowers.

Additional common names include White Checkermallow, Modest Mallow, and False Mallow.

Flower:

Pure to creamy white, bowl or saucer-shaped flowers have blue anthers. The flowers are held in racemes on vertical stems and are produced in July and August.
