Description: A tall herbaceous annual with a columnar habit. Narrow grey-green leaves are linear in shape. The stems are covered in fine, silver felt. Trumpet-shaped flowers are mauve-magenta with white centres and deep purple veining on each petal. The petals often have a black dashed line running along each of the purple veins. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced in early and midsummer. Attractive to pollinating insects and excellent for use as cut flowers.

Trumpet-shaped flowers are magenta-mauve with white towards the centre of each bloom. The petals have deep purple veining, often with a black dashed line running along each purple vein. The flowers are held singly on slender, upright stems and are produced in June and July.
