Description: A Deciduous hybrid peony with an upright, bushy habit. Mid-green leaves are deeply Divided to pinnate with ovate to Elliptic leaflets. Exceptionally large, semi-double to double bowl-shaped flowers are a soft shade of lemon yellow. Each Bloom has bronze-red markings towards the centre and a prominent crown of yellow stamens. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced from early into midsummer, occasionally sending out later Blooms. The flowers have a sweet scent and are attractive to pollinating insects. Paeonia 'Bartzella' is an intersectional hybrid between a tree peony and a herbaceous peony.

Exceptionally large, semi-double to double bowl-shaped flowers are a shade of soft lemon yellow and scented. Each bloom has bronze-red markings towards the centre and a prominent central crown of yellow stamens. The flowers are held singly on upright stems in June and July (occasionally later).
