Description: A low-growing hardy annual with a bushy, upright habit. Inconspicuous pale green leaves are deeply Divided to pinnate with linear to ovate leaflets. Small bowl-shaped flowers are creamy white with golden Anthers. Each petal has darker veining and is notched at the tip. The flowers are held singly on upright stems and are produced in profusion from early spring into early summer. The Blooms are very attractive to pollinating insects.

Although Limnanthes douglasii subsp. nivea is an annual, the group in the White Garden at Malverleys self-sows each year.

Small bowl-shaped flowers are creamy white with golden yellow anthers. Each petal has darker veining and is notched at the tip. The flowers are held singly on slender, upright stems and are produced in profusion from March into June.
