Description: A rhizomatous Perennial with a clump-forming habit and upright stems. Dark green leaves are trifoliate with lanceolate, lobed leaflets and are held in whorls below the flowers. Single saucer-shaped flowers are buttercup yellow. At the centre of each Bloom is a green disc surrounded by a crown of golden stamens. The Blooms are held singly and produced from early to mid-spring. The flowers are attractive to pollinating insects.
