Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Aromatic, mid to dark green leaves are triangular to ovate in shape with coarsely toothed to scalloped margins. The foliage smells of liquorice when crushed. Many small, tubular 2-lipped flowers are a shade of deep violet-blue and have darker purple calyces. The Blooms are held in dense spikes on upright stems and are produced from midsummer into mid-autumn. The flowers are very attractive to pollinating insects.
