Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a bushy, upright habit. Dark green leaves are oblong to ovate in shape and covered in rough hairs. The daisy-like flowers are composed of many narrow, violet petals (ray florets) surrounding a yellow central disc. The flowerheads are held in Corymbs and are produced in profusion from midsummer into mid-autumn. The Blooms are attractive to pollinating insects.

Flower:

Daisy-like flowerheads are composed of narrow ray florets (petals) in varying shades of violet. The ray florets surround a central cluster of yellow disc florets. The blooms are held in corymbs and are produced abundantly from July into October.
