Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with an upright, bushy habit. Mid to dark green leaves are ovate to lanceolate in shape and held on deep red stems. The daisy-like flowers are composed of many narrow, lilac-blue petals (technically ray florets) surrounding a central yellow disc. The Blooms are held in Corymbs on upright stems and are produced from midsummer into early autumn. Attractive to pollinating insects and good for use as cut flowers.

The genus Eurybia was formerly known as Aster.

Daisy-like flowerheads are composed of many narrow, lilac-blue ray florets (petals) surrounding a central cluster of yellow disc florets. The blooms are held in corymbs on upright stems and are produced from July into September.
