Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming and upright habit. Mid to dark green leaves are lanceolate to linear in shape. Daisy-like flowerheads have green petals (ray florets) with pink at the base that gradually extends the length of the petal as the Bloom ages. At the centre of each Bloom is a prominent, prickly, greenish-brown cone. The flowerheads are held singly atop upright stems and are produced from midsummer into early autumn. The Blooms are sweetly scented and very attractive to pollinating insects. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

The genus name Echinacea is based on the Greek word 'Echinos' for hedgehog, a reference to the prickly centre of the flower.

Daisy-like flowerheads have green ray florets (petals) with a pink patch at the base that gradually extends as the flower ages. At the centre of each bloom is a greenish-brown cone composed of disc florets and stiff, pointed bracts. The flowerheads are held sigly on sturdy, upright stems and are produced from July into September.
