Description: A small Evergreen, coniferous Shrub with a bushy habit that may become more pyramidal with time. Soft, blue-green needles are held in upright bunches of five on the branches. The needles may be pale green when young. The pollen cones are bright yellow and held near the tips of the branches. The seed cones are narrow and cylindrical in shape and are purplish-brown when young, and will slowly mature to pale brown. Pinus strobus 'Nana' can be variable in cultivation and is slow-growing.

The correct botanical name is Pinus strobus 'Nana' (Nana Group), but several experts believe that many of the plants found in cultivation under this name are more than likely Pinus strobus 'Radiata'.
