Description: A Modern Shrub rose with an upright, bushy habit and prickly stems. Glossy mid to dark green, pinnate leaves have oval to Elliptic leaflets with finely toothed margins. Double, Cupped rose flowers open bright rose pink and fade over time to softer lilac-pink with white centres. At the centre of each Bloom is a cluster of golden stamens. The flowers are held in clusters on upright stems and are produced, repeatedly, from early summer into mid-autumn. The Blooms are lightly scented and attractive to pollinating insects. Excellent for use as cut flowers.

The correct botanical name is Rosa 'Ausimple', 'Skylark' is a trademark or preferred selling name.
Flower:
Double, cupped rose flowers open bright rose pink and fade with age to softer lilac-pink with white centres. At the centre of each bloom is a cluster of golden stamens. The flowers are held in small clusters on upright stems and are produced, repeatedly, from June through October.
