Description: A medium-sized, Evergreen Shrub with an upright, bushy habit and spiny branches. Glossy dark green leaves are oblong to oblanceolate in shape and have sharp spines at the tips. Cup and saucer-shaped flowers are a rich shade of tangerine orange. The flowers are held in clusters along the stems and are produced from early into mid-spring. The flowers are followed by blue-black berries.

Additional common name - Jasperbells BarBerry 'Orange King'.
