Description: A large Deciduous Shrub or small tree with an open habit and rounded crown. Attractive mid to dark green, pinnate leaves have oval to oblong leaflets and are held on brittle, thorny branches. Fragrant, lavender-pink flowers have deeper pink calyces. The Blooms are held in pendent Racemes and are produced in abundance in early summer. The flowers are attractive to pollinating insects and are followed by flat, brown seed pods. The leaves turn a bright shade of yellow in autumn before falling.
