Description: A clump-forming, tuberous Perennial with short, upright stems. Glossy dark green leaves are palmately lobed with fine, oblong to lanceolate lobes. The leaves are held in a collar-like involucre just below the flowers. The Blooms are pale primrose yellow and cup-shaped. The flowers are held singly atop the short stems which are bare beneath the collar of Bracts. Palmately lobed Basal Leaves are produced after the flowers have finished. Attractive to pollinating insects.

'Schwefelglanz' translates to 'Sulpher Glow or 'Sulpher Gloss'.

Pale primrose yellow flowers are cup-shaped. Each bloom has a central crown of yellow stamens. The flowers are held singly above a collar of foliage and are produced from February into March.
