Description: A low-growing bulbous Perennial with a clump-forming habit. Ovate to Elliptic Basal Leaves are grey-green to dark green with attractive maroon mottling. Nodding, star-shaped flowers are bright yellow with maroon speckles on the interior and brownish-red shading on the exterior of the petals. The flowers have pointed, recurved to reflexed petals. The Blooms are held singly atop upright stems and are produced in mid-spring. Attractive to pollinating insects.

Flower:
