Description: A bulbous Perennial with tall, upright stems. Oblanceolate, glossy dark green leaves are produced at the base of the plant during the winter months, a distinctive trait of Lilium candidum. Smaller, lanceolate leaves are produced on the upright flowering stems. Large trumpet-shaped flowers are pure white with golden yellow Anthers. The Blooms are held in Racemes and produced in midsummer. Highly fragrant and excellent for use as cut flowers.

Additional common names - Annunciation Lily, White Lily, Bourbon Lily

This plant has been in been in cultivation since at least Ancient Crete.

Flower:

Large trumpet-shaped flowers are pure white and have golden yellow anthers. The flowers are held in racemes with up to 20 blooms on each stem. The flowers are produced in July and are highly fragrant.
