Description: Fertile Blue Group of Meconopsis

A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming habit. Pale green leaves are lanceolate, oblong or Elliptic in shape. The foliage and the flower buds are covered in dense, copper-coloured bristles. Pointed buds open to large, outward-facing flowers that are bowl to saucer-shaped in shades of azure blue. Each Bloom can reach to 15cm across. At the centre of each flower is a showy cluster of stamens with golden Anthers and a proud pale green to white stigma. The flowers are held in clusters atop upright stems and are produced from late spring into early summer. Meconopsis 'Lingholm' is usually seed-raised in cultivation and, therefore, variable.

Bristly, pointed buds open to large, outward-facing flowers that are bowl to saucer-shaped and in shades of rich azure blue. At the centre of each bloom is a prominent central cluster of white stamens with golden anthers. Each flower can reach to 15cm across. The blooms are held in clusters atop upright stems and are produced in May and June.
