Description: A herbaceous Perennial with a clump-forming habit. Glossy dark green leaves are biternate and have ovate to oblong leaflets with coarsely toothed margins. The leaves are held in neat mounds at the base of the plant. Delicate nodding, cup-shaped flowers have pale lilac to white outer petals and rich deep purple inner petals. The flowers have a waxy texture. The Blooms are held well above the foliage in airy Racemes and are produced from late summer into early autumn.

Round buds open to delicate, nodding cup and saucer-shaped flowers with pale lilac to white outer petals and deep purple inner petals. The flowers have a waxy texture and each bloom has a central cluster of stamens with yellow anthers. The blooms are held above the foliage in loose racemes and are produced in August and September.
