Description: A clump-forming herbaceous Perennial with an upright, bushy habit. Aromatic, mid to dark green leaves are ovate to heart-shaped with coarsely toothed margins. Funnel-shaped, 2-lipped flowers are a dark shade of violet-blue. The lower petal of each Bloom is paler and marked with deep purple speckles. The Blooms are held in densely whorled spikes atop upright stems and are produced from midsummer into early autumn. Good for use as cut flowers and attractive to pollinating insects.
