Description: A small Deciduous Shrub with a suckering habit and many upright, woody stems. Fern-like, pinnate leaves have lanceolate to oblong leaflets with pointed tips and coarsely toothed margins. The leaves emerge red and bronze in spring, then fade to bright yellow-green and eventually turn mid-green with maturity. Small ivory-white flowers are star-shaped with long, protruding stamens. The Blooms are held in dense, upright panicles and produced from mid to late summer. Attractive to pollinating insects. The foliage turns shades of red in autumn before falling.
