Description: Large Late-flowered Group of Clematis.

A climber with slender, brittle twining stems. Mid to dark green, pinnate leaves have oval to heart-shaped leaflets with pointed tips. Large saucer-shaped flowers open deep velvety crimson and turn to rich magenta-pink with age. Each flower has a showy central cluster of pale yellow stamens with Anthers that turn deep red with age. The flowers are held singly on twining stems and are produced from early summer into early autumn.
