Description: A medium-sized Evergreen Shrub with an upright, bushy habit. Dark green leaves are oblanceolate to oblong in shape and have a leathery texture. Deep violet-pink buds open to cross-shaped, pale violet-pink and white flowers. The Blooms are heavily scented and held in clusters at the tips of the branches. The flowers are produced from late winter into early spring and are followed by round, black berries.

There are paler pink forms of Daphne bholua 'Peter Smithers' in cultivation.

Deep violet-pink buds open to pale violet-pink and white, cruciform flowers. The blooms are heavily scented and held in clusters at the tips of the branches. The flowers are produced from February into March and are followed by round black berries.
